You touch a willing beast. For the duration of the spell, you can use your action to see through the beast’s eyes and hear what it hears, and continue to do so until you use your action to return to your normal senses.

Beast Sense 5.5e 2024 vs. 5e 2014 edition differences

The 2024 version removes the action-to-swap feature and instead lets you perceive through the beast’s senses while keeping your own. It also explicitly gives you any special senses the beast has while you’re perceiving through it.
