A creature of your choice that you can see within range regains Hit Points equal to 2d4 plus your spellcasting ability modifier.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The healing increases by 2d4 for each spell slot level above 1.
Healing Word 5e 2024 vs. 2014 edition differences
In 2024, Healing Word deals 2d4 + spellcasting modifier, doubled to 4d4 + modifier when cast with a 2nd-level or higher slot, compared to 1d4 + modifier and +1d4 per level above 1st in 2014. The school changed from evocation to abjuration.
